Below short introduction to me, and my background in holistic therapies and yoga.
Kama Calm launched in Morningside Edinburgh in 2012 and is a business specialising in tailored holistic treatments originating from many geographical locations around the world. Its primary focus is geared towards balancing and cleansing the human body revitalizing the living energy field (chakras) within. The chakras represent different areas of one’s life, which can be subject to fluctuations of energy – both negative and positive. An imbalance in these may manifest as varying levels of stress experienced by an individual. Additionally emotional or mental stress if prolonged can also result in the manifestation of physical ailments.
Kama Calm aims to help individuals bring their body back into balance and in turn release unwanted stress. Treatments include: Swedish, Aromatherapy, Indian Head, Hot Crystals massage, Ayurvedic (Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Udvartana) and also Kinetic Chain Release. Recently, Kama Calm is also able to provide yoga classes with sound healing.
Kamila has been trained in various alternative therapies in accredited institutions in the UK and Poland. Beginning in 2010 with VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies (Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology), in 2012 she obtained a VTCT Certificate in Indian Head massage and also training in Ayurvedic treatments. Whilst studying an Honours Degree in Complementary Healthcare in Aromatherapy at Edinburgh Napier University (2011-2014), she set up Kama Calm Holistic Therapies.
In 2015 she discovered KCR Kinetic Chain Release completing all levels of KCR and CTR plus a Women’s Health Certificate. Her curiosity and a drive to learn plus discover new ways of helping people, increased her understanding of the connection between mind, body and spirit including vibrations and energy healing.
She has since studied Sound therapy from the ANSU School of Sound & Tribal Healing Arts and can now combine sound therapy into her yoga classes plus Reiki and Shamanic Healing in her treatments. The addition of Yoga classes further enhances her client’s wellbeing, providing an unparalleled range of choices and ways to help clients on their life journey.
